alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The historic village of Fahraj hosted Mr. Mir Behboudi, the Director General of Rural Affairs and Councils of the Governorate, and Mr. Rahim Abadi, the Head of the Central District of Yazd, on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 7, 2024.During this field visit, important civil and cultural projects of this village were evaluated, and the significant role of the people in the sustainable development of villages was emphasized.In a conversation with local officials, Mir Behboudi described Fahraj as a &#8220;historical gem of the desert with traditional architecture and a rich culture on the path of development,&#8221; and stated: &#8220;Rural development will only succeed with the presence, solidarity, and genuine participation of the people. The council and the village administration must facilitate this participation so that tasks can be accomplished in the best possible way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Visited projects;\ud83d\udd39 The road leading to the historical site of the martyrs of FaharjA major communication route extending one kilometer in length and 20 meters in width, which facilitates access for the people to the memorial of the martyrs of Faharj and the shrine of Hoveyt Ibn Hani (the niece of Amir al-Mu&#8217;minin Ali, peace be upon him). The director general of rural affairs emphasized the principled management of surface waters and rainfall on this route to ensure that the movement of people is not hindered.\ud83d\udd39 The Comprehensive Health Services Center of Hazrat Mohsen (peace be upon him)This project, thanks to the generous benefactor, Haj Ramadan Hosseini Faharji, began in 2017 and now has over 95% physical progress. With costs exceeding 10 billion rials from the esteemed benefactor and 300 million tomans from the health department, this center will be inaugurated in the near future. During this visit, the director general of rural affairs appreciated the esteemed benefactor and emphasized the completion of the landscaping and entrance of this center.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39The public library of Fajr is an active library set to open, which has so far attracted several thousand books and cultural equipment with the participation of the people, the council, and the rural administration. The Director General of Rural Affairs, in contact with some officials, emphasized the swift equipping and launching of this cultural center and considered this library a valuable step towards enhancing the culture of reading in the village. \ud83d\udfe2 After this visit, a meeting was held with members of the Islamic Council, the village head of Fajr, and a group of tourism and cultural heritage activists. Mr. Mir Behboudi, referring to the tourism potential of Fajr, called for accelerating projects with the participation of the people and stated, &#8216;To achieve success, we must create opportunities for people to engage in such projects.
